the shine on a blue velvet material really just scream out jewels. look how it just shine beautifully like a deep blue jewel. velvet is such a beautiful material and it just add an good old touch and texture to a simple and solid outfit. if you can't mix prints, then mix texture!
i purchased this velvet blouse from a local thrift store; i swear thrift stores carry thousand of unique treasures. i top this vintage blouse on top of a simple black dress that i purchased at nastygal a year ago and i top it off with a vintage belt to bring my waist in.
